Special Orders and Custom Designs

One of the best things about hand-made jewelry is that it can be personalized or custom designed just for you! You can treat yourself to real luxury,
knowing that you are the sole owner of something unique, an item of real beauty that wasn't mass-produced by an impersonal machine.

Choosing your Custom Piece

The easiest way to order a custom piece is to find something similar that you like at my online STORE, (don't forget to check the "sold" items section!) and then communicate any changes in color, gemstone, or design elements that you would like me to incorporate in your unique piece. Many gemstones, crystals and other elements can be exchanged easily for different colors, shapes or anything else you can imagine.

I can use all natural gemstones, freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals, fire-polished beads, lampwork, or anything else you would like to use in your one-of-a-kind design. I can also use gold-filled wire (a long-lasting, standardized wire that has 1000x thicker gold coating than electroplating) in place of sterling silver for any design.
All effort will be made to create exactly the special piece you imagined. I will work with you to come up with ideas, and to make sure that you are in love with the finished product.

After negotiation, a 50% downpayment is required for all custom orders, with final payment due in 1-2 weeks when the piece is completed. This downpayment may be waived in some cases or for smaller orders.

Bridal Jewelry

I am also happy to discuss custom Wedding Jewelry, either for the Bride or for an entire bridal party. Your wedding should be a special event that reflects your style sensiblilities rather than a pre-packaged, assembly-line affair. I can create something for you that is unique, yet appropriate and beautiful for your formal occasion.

Below, you can see a sample photo of a bridal party set I was commissioned to complete for an April 2008 wedding. The bridesmaid's dresses were navy, and the bride wanted to incorporate her favorite gemstone, amber, into the design. We came up with a solution which combined beautiful glowing amber, dark blue Swarovski crystal pearls, and white freshwater pearls. This photo was only one stage of the design process, a test necklace to determine the need for white freshwater pearls. Guess what? They were needed.
